JLMAG forays into the new track of rubber soft magnets.
As a global leading enterprise in high-performance rare earth permanent magnetic materials, JL Mag Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. has continuously strengthened its leading position in industries such as sintered NdFeB, molded magnets, and injection molded magnets. In 2025, it established the Rubber Soft Magnetic Division, focusing on the research, production, and sales of rubber soft magnetic materials.
This project is being constructed by Jiangxi Jincheng Permanent Magnet New Materials Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of JL Mag Rare-Earth Co., Ltd. The project site is located in the New Energy Vehicle Science and Technology City Industrial Park of Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone. The first phase of the intelligent production line for rubber soft magnets is currently under tight construction and trial production. The company will gradually expand its production capacity and is expected to become one of the main suppliers in the rubber soft magnet industry by 2028.
Relying on JLMAG's leading R&D capabilities, strict quality control system, and global sales & logistics network in the rare earth permanent magnet industry, the company will build an integrated rubber soft magnetic industrial ecosystem covering R&D, production, sales, and application. This initiative not only marks the strategic extension of JLMAG's "full-category magnetic material solutions" but also announces the completion and trial production of Jiangxi Province's first intelligent rubber soft magnetic production line.
l Technological Leadership: Rare Earth Permanent Magnets Drive the Upgrade of the Rubber Soft Magnet Industry
Building on the traditional strontium and barium ferrite rubber soft magnets, JLMAG has innovatively integrated a variety of industry-leading rare earth permanent magnet technologies such as neodymium-iron-boron, cerium-iron-boron, and samarium-iron-nitrogen, achieving leapfrog advancements and breakthroughs in magnetic material performance and durability. The company has mastered the production technologies for the full range of rubber soft magnetic materials, and the invested and constructed full-process intelligent production lines plus flexible test lines enable the coexistence of large-scale production and personalized customization. The advanced internal mixing and calendering processes adopted in the project ensure that the product width can reach 1350mm, the thickness up to 3.5mm, and the batch fluctuation of magnetic performance is less than 3%. Key indicators including magnetic performance uniformity, mechanical strength, weather resistance, and surface consistency have all reached the industry-leading level.

This entry into the rubber soft magnetic industry is a key layout of JLMAG "magnetic material type diversification" strategy. Rubber soft magnets form a perfect complement to the company's existing products such as sintered NdFeB and rubber hard magnets. On one hand, rubber soft magnets can effectively utilize recycled materials from the rare earth permanent magnet production process, practicing the concept of green circular economy; on the other hand, their combination can provide customers with a full set of magnetic solutions ranging from rigid to flexible, low-performance to high-performance, and core power to auxiliary functions, creating greater value for customers. For example, in the automotive field, the company's sintered NdFeB products are applied to the "heart" of new energy vehicles—drive motors, while rubber soft magnets can be widely used in "nerve endings" such as door seals, smart display screen fixation, and sensor brackets. This synergistic effect enables us to be more deeply embedded in customers' value chains.

The highly automated first-phase rubber soft magnetic production line of JLMAG possesses the capabilities of rapidly responding to market demands and large-scale delivery.
